Flatiron Building is a massive structure. Rumor has it that at the time it was built (back in early 1900's), there were people who seriously believed it was going to collapse... because it was so thin and tall - unlike anthing that was built till then. Till this day too, maybe. You can't help but think: with all the countless skyscrapers stacked on this little island, there's hardly another as impressive as this one.
